Energy Psychology for Pain Relief and More

  Pain is a complex phenomenon. Consider these facts: Sometimes there is obvious tissue injury and/or inflammation, sometimes not. Different people can experience very different pain levels in the face of similar injuries. Sometimes pain disappears after the ingestion of a fake pill (placebo) that the patient believes will reduce their pain. Chronic pain patients experience better days and worse days, often without obvious cause. People who have experienced psychological trauma, particularly chronic childhood trauma, are more likely to develop chronic illnesses, including chronic pain The more types of childhood trauma a patient has experienced, the less likely they are to benefit from back surgery. A common link underlying all of these may be the role of unprocessed emotional energy in generating pain. A type of therapy called energy psychology can often quickly reduce pain, often permanently.
